Security Specialist at CSP / Bureau of Diplomatic Security

This position is located in the Open Source Intelligence program, Threat Investigations and Analysis Directorate (TIA), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Department of State (DoS). The program identifies information within the open source environment related to terrorism, political violence, threats, and suspicious activity.

Temporary Non-Status Position: 1 year, renewable for up to 4 years

Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements, including education, and any selective placement factors described below by the closing date of this announcement.

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and  abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience instructing a variety of security classes.

Experience designing and producing artwork such as graphs, maps, charts and posters.

Experience  planning the logistics and resources for a training program.
